By accessing and using Aura ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Aura is designed for educational, self-awareness, and personal development purposes only. The assessments, insights, and recommendations provided are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any mental health condition, medical condition, or psychological disorder.

3. Not Medical or Psychological Advice

The Service does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, or clinical advice. The information provided should not be used as a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have concerns about your mental health or are experiencing significant distress, please consult with a qualified mental health professional or healthcare provider.

4. No Guarantees or Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided. Results are based on self-reported information and are provided for informational purposes only.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. Currently, we support authentication through Discord and Google sign-in. Additional authentication methods may be added in the future.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aura and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

The assessments and related content in our Service utilize materials from the International Personality Item Pool (IPIP), which are available under a free use license, as well as content under Creative Commons Zero (CCO) license. Some content has been generated to map closely to assessment dimensions. These materials are free to use. Other aspects of the Service, including its design, features, and functionality, are protected by intellectual property laws.

8. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms from time to time to adapt to business needs and improve our Service. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
